Dialectical Behavior Therapy

Sometimes, getting resources for mental health can be very helpful. And then sometimes, it can feel like someone just gave you sutures and told you to stitch up your own wound. So as you check out these resources, remember that there are experts and peers to help you along the journey. Some programs, like DBT, even have local groups where you can walk through these steps in anonymous and safe community. A quick Google search would reveal groups and experts in your area that are ready and excited to help.

Celebrate Recovery

Whether you’re struggling with codependency, hurt, or addiction of some kind—you’re in good company here. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for people struggling with any hurt, habit, or hang-up that meets on Friday nights at Rivers Crossing.

Find a Therapist

Meeting with a licensed therapist or counselor can be life-changing! They can help you manage mental illness, change your negative beliefs and offer wise counsel when life gets difficult. Whether you seek out a therapist through your insurance or through an online database, we recommend trying to find a Christian therapist who can offer insight through a Christian worldview.

We will provide and continue to update some resources below from therapists that call Rivers Crossing home.
