“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” John 14:12
God has moved in powerful ways at Rivers Crossing– but we are just getting started! God has greater things ahead for us. A city waiting to hear the name of Jesus. A generation ready to rise. Churches to be planted. We won’t shrink back, we won’t play it safe, because God has called us to greater things.
A Note from Pastors Paul and Farrah:
What began as just a few families in a basement dreaming about how God might transform a community has grown into a movement. Together, we’ve seen more than 13,000 people decide to follow Jesus —and even more lives have been impacted through the churches we’ve planted. Thousands of children and students are discovering their purpose in Christ. Kids who once grew up in our church are now stepping up to lead the church. We’ve witnessed marriages restored, broken hearts healed, and most importantly, the name of Jesus lifted high. Looking back, it’s easy to think, what a good run! But we know this is only the beginning. God still has greater things He wants to accomplish through us. We’ll never settle, we’ll never stop taking risks, because God has called us to greater things. |
The Greater Things Project is not just about expanding our local impact– we also plan to significantly expand our global reach through church planting. From day one, our vision has been to launch new churches—here in Cincinnati and around the world. Why? Because we believe new churches are the most effective tool for reaching people with the hope of Jesus.
That vision has grown into the Extraordinary Church Collective—a network of over 30 churches (and counting!) that equips pastors with resources, mentorship, and encouragement. Through these churches, we’ve seen more than 13,000 people say yes to Jesus and 4,625 step out in faith through baptism. We believe God’s not done yet. More churches to plant. More lives to reach. More people to encounter the good news of Jesus.
John and Talia’s Story of Life Change
After years of pain, pride, and trying to “fix herself,” Talia was lost– until Jesus changed everything. What began with a desperate prayer for help led to restoration for Talia and her husband; a testimony of the Holy Spirit’s healing power; and two lives transformed. |
Kellie’s Story of a Family Transformed
When Kellie’s daughter left Tribes in tears, she had no idea that moment in the car would spark a family-wide move of God, with three generations being baptized, healed, and transformed. It’s proof that God can use anyone, even a teenager, to make the Gospel known. |
These are just a few of the thousands of lives that have changed because someone said “Yes!” to Jesus. This is the “why” behind the Greater Things Project.
For one more life changed
For one more family transformed
For one more marriage saved
For one more generation on mission
For one more city reached
For one more yes to Jesus
For one more ___________.
The Greater Things Project will transform countless lives at Rivers Crossing and in new churches around the world. In order for this vision to become a reality, we all need to pray boldly and give generously.
Seek God’s direction for your role in this vision. Ask, “God, what would you have me do?” When we surrender to His will, He shows us the unique part we’re meant to play. We will begin a 21-Day Fast on Monday, February 2nd. Together, we will prepare our hearts in prayer for the greater things God wants to do in us and through us over the next three years. Let this time of fasting and prayer deepen your connection with God as you reflect on what He’s calling you to. Mark your calendar for a Night of Worship on Thursday, February 12th as we gather to seek God together. |
Over the next three years, prayerfully commit to giving above your regular giving toward the Greater Things Project. You can give in the way that works best for you—weekly, monthly, yearly, or through one large gift. On Commitment Sunday, February 22nd, bring your commitment card as an act of faith and trust in God. On Sunday, March 1st, bring your first and best gift toward your 3-year commitment. This is our moment to trust God, give boldly, and build His Kingdom. As we step out in faith, He will use our generosity to change lives for generations to come! |
