My Name is Milly Nassolo Kikomeko, A Ugandan who lives and serves in Uganda, I am married to Robert k. Tumusabe and together we have two biological sons and 23 other foster children. I am a Lawyer by profession and the Co-founder and Director at Maisha Schools Uganda and Maisha Holistic Africa Foundation Uganda. In my free time, I write articles for news papers and I authored a book called Losing to Love, a piece that has become a beacon of light to mothers and their children.

In 2014 as a practicing Muslim, I didn’t understand the call of Jesus to start serving Him, but I ran to my friend (husband now) to help me understand more about Jesus and what serving Him means, from the time I said yes to Jesus to date, I have never desired to look back.  God’s instruction for me to serve with vulnerable children has brought me tremendous joy, and sometimes immense worry and a heavy heart, haha, but I am grateful for his grace that helps me to navigate everyday alive, sane and hopeful that the next day is surely going to be better.

Maisha Holistic Africa foundation which is the heart of my ministry journey with Jesus is such a testimony, I have had an opportunity to impact the lives of many people, through providing education, skills, women empowerment, sensitisation and legal assistance where the need arises, rescuing young girls from child exploitation and child marriages, then bringing them into our home for safety and protection is one blessing I can’t fail to mention. I am grateful to God for the grace to stand in the gap.

Two years ago, God called Robert and I to start a Church in Kyenzige, a place that has been known for being the capital of cultism for decades, through pastoring and serving at Cornerstone Community Church, I have witnessed the liberation of souls, baptism of once cult leaders and the rising of a generation of children that fear God and believe in Jesus as Lord, it’s still a journey but I am here for it.

I am grateful for the partnership with Rivers Crossing that has brought more than we prayed and hoped for, I am grateful for all the spiritual empowerment and financial support that we receive which has not only brought tremendous growth, but also a testament of what God can do if we hold onto Him, this partnership is God’s demonstration of His power to save and protect to us.

Thank you and may God bless you.
