A Book Study of “Start With Amen” by Beth Guckenberger
A Facilitator Led Discussion Group | Cost $20 – includes book

Join us in reading Beth Guckenberger’s, Start With Amen. We will meet for 6 weeks to discuss this powerful book in small groups.

A little about the book: One power-packed word: amen. Millions of Christians all over the world say this word every day. Yet few realize what richness, depth, truth, and connection are packed into this sacred phrase.

Beth unpacks all the Bible has to teach us about the moment we say amen to God. Using key scripture passages mixed with fresh teaching and personal stories, she invites readers to experience the richness they’ve been missing.

If Christians long to be truly connected to their Creator, they must begin with amen. For, as Isaiah 65:16 says, “Because he who is blessed in the earth will be blessed by the God of Amen.”

Journaling through the Bible with the Read Scripture App
Led by Sue Carroll | Cost $10

Bible Art Journaling is the process of intentionally spending time in God’s Word while praying, studying, listening, and then recording the truth the Holy Spirit has revealed to your heart. This becomes a memorial to the Lord and a remembrance of what He has taught you. The place where you have met.

In this 6 Week Session, we will be referring to the READ SCRIPTURE APP, as we utilize the 3,2,1 Method of Study.

This class is for all levels! We will learn lettering techniques, step by step doodles, mixed media techniques and color options to create visual memorials of God’s truth as we study His Word.

There are so many ways to create that include simply re-writing scripture, tracing techniques, stamps, stickers and more. You don’t have to be an ARTIST! I promise! I will bring lots of fun things for you to try!

Materials needed:
Bound watercolor paper (Canson is available at Walmart for about $5)
Plain copy paper (for practice)
01-05 Micron art pen (found a any local craft store)
Mechanical pencil

Adventures in Parenting 2.0– Orphan Care
Led by Kim Rupert | Cost $20

The purpose of this study is offer life support to all of those called to the challenging and sometimes isolating job of orphan care.  However God has asked you to play a part in what Scripture defines as true religion, it is imperative that you truly know what God’s Word has to say about this job.  He is passionate about these kids and our calling to parent them, and offers rich blessing in His Word to keep us alive and even JOYFUL during the journey.

You need a tribe to do this life well, the fellowship of other Believers who get why you do this, and the confidence that God has got your back, too.  My tribe has quite literally held up my arms, even when I couldn’t stretch them to heaven any longer because I was in such a dark valley.  We have celebrated every victory together, and cried through the darkest days.  They are a God-gift to me.  This study is God’s Word to me as I sought him for the survival of my heart.
