We cannot thank you enough for your support and encouragement over the past few months of Church at Home. Since day one, we have been able to reach people through our online platforms. We’ve seen people make decisions to follow Jesus, gather in online groups, trust God with their finances in uncertain times, and serve our community. As the State of Ohio begins to open back up, we’re excited to share our plan to resume on-site gatherings.

STEP 1 JUNE 7TH

COMMUNITY GROUPS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BEGIN GATHERING IN OUTDOOR VENUES WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING.

After a season of Online Groups, we are excited for our church family to begin gathering again! Beginning the week of June 7th, Community Groups are encouraged to begin gathering in outdoor locations while still practicing social distancing. This could look like meeting up in a parking lot of your favorite restaurant or coffee shop, gathering in someone’s backyard or in a local park. Additionally:

  • Social Distancing means maintaining a distance of 6 feet away from other people not in your immediate family/household.
  • If you currently have or have recently had a fever, cough or sore throat, shortness of breath, or contact with anyone confirmed to have COVID-19 (in the past 14 days) please stay home.
  • This step includes adult Community Groups, Young Adult groups, and Tribes High School groups.

STEP 2 – JUNE 26TH

NIGHT OF WORSHIP AND PRAYER AT 7PM AT THE MASON CAMPUS.

We’re gathering at our Mason campus for the first time since March 9th with limited capacity! We can’t wait to see your faces and worship together physically with you. In order to keep everyone safe, this gathering will look different than our typical gatherings with reduced capacity, online registration and social distancing guidelines in place. See step 3 for a full list of these guidelines.

STEP 3 – JULY 12TH

ON-CAMPUS SUNDAY SERVICES RESUME WITH LIMITED CAPACITY.

IN-PERSON GATHERINGS
SUNDAYS AT 9AM, 10:45AM & 12:30PM

STARTING JULY 12TH

We’re regathering at our Mason campus on July 12th at 9am, 10:45am and 12:30pm with limited capacity! We can’t wait to see your faces and worship together physically with you. In order to keep everyone safe, these gatherings will look different than our typical services with reduced capacity, online registration and social distancing guidelines in place.

LIMITED CAPACITY
What does limited capacity look like?

Each household will be seated two seats apart, and every other row will be left vacant. To help us safely maximize our capacity, each member of your household must have a reserved seat.

Will there be River Kids programming?

At this time, we don’t have a date to relaunch gatherings for children and student ministries. Kids and students are welcome to join their parents in the Main Auditorium.

SAFE AND SANITIZED

In order to keep everyone safe, these gatherings will look different than our typical services. Below are some changes that we are making to keep you safe, and some things that you can  do to help us achieve that goal.

What we are doing:
  • Providing additional hand sanitizer stations around the building.
  • Disinfecting all surfaces between services, including auditoriums, restrooms and common areas with state of the art disinfecting equipment.
  • Seating each family 6 feet apart, and utilizing every other row in our venues.
  • Requiring masks in the lobby and during singing.
  • Continuing to provide Children and Student Ministries online only. Kids are welcome to join their family in our main service.
  • Continuing to provide a high-quality online experience for anyone who is not able to attend in person.
What you can do:
  • If you have any symptoms of illness, please do not attend our in-person gatherings for 14 days.
  • Wear a mask in the lobby and during singing.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly, cover your cough, and avoid touching your face.
  • Respect other people’s personal space by maintaining a safe distance of 6 ft.
  • Instead of hugs, greet one another with a wave or a smile.
  • If you live with a health condition that puts you at high risk for COVID-19, consider joining us online instead.
  • Before you choose to gather with us in person, pray about your decision.

We understand that everyone in our church family has a different comfort level when it comes to regathering. With this in mind, we will continue to provide a high quality online experience for anyone choosing to worship from home.

STEP 4 – WEEK OF JULY 13TH

MIDWEEK GATHERINGS MAY RESUME WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING.

Beginning the week of July 13th, midweek ministries such as Celebrate Recovery, Discipleship School and Young Adults will resume on-site activity.  If you are a part of one of these ministries, keep an eye out for additional information from ministry leaders.

Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and the Ohio Department of Health. If anything changes, we will update you here. Make sure to follow us across all of our communication platforms so that you’re the first to know when we share updates.

Our desire is to be wise and balanced in our approach as we discern what is best for our church family and our wider community.  Please join us in praying and preparing for an outpouring of God’s grace on our church family to bring the hope, help, and healing of Jesus Christ to more people than ever!
