We cannot thank you enough for your support and encouragement over the past few months of Church at Home. Since day one, we have been able to reach people through our online platforms. We’ve seen people make decisions to follow Jesus, gather in online groups, trust God with their finances in uncertain times, and serve our community. As the State of Ohio begins to open back up, we’re excited to share our plan to resume on-site gatherings.

JOIN US IN PERSON THIS SUNDAY!

SERVICES START AT 9AM and 10:45AM

We’re regathering at our Mason campus Sundays at 9am and 10:45am with limited capacity! We can’t wait to see your faces and worship together physically with you. In order to keep everyone safe, these gatherings will look different than our typical services with reduced capacity, online registration and social distancing guidelines in place.

LIMITED CAPACITY
What does limited capacity look like?

Each household will be seated two seats apart, and every other row will be left vacant. To help us safely maximize our capacity, each member of your household must have a reserved seat. Registration opens each Monday for the following weekend’s services.

SAFE AND SANITIZED

In order to keep everyone safe, these gatherings will look different than our typical services. Below are some changes that we are making to keep you safe, and some things that you can  do to help us achieve that goal.

What we are doing:
  • Providing additional hand sanitizer stations around the building.
  • Disinfecting all surfaces between services, including auditoriums, restrooms and common areas with state of the art disinfecting equipment.
  • Seating each family 6 feet apart, and utilizing every other row in our venues.
  • Requiring masks in the lobby and during singing.
  • Taking temperatures at the door.
  • Continuing to provide Children and Student Ministries online only. Kids are welcome to join their family in our main service.
  • Continuing to provide a high-quality online experience for anyone who is not able to attend in person.
What you can do:
  • If you have any symptoms of illness, please do not attend our in-person gatherings for 14 days.
  • Wear a mask in the lobby and during singing.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly, cover your cough, and avoid touching your face.
  • Respect other people’s personal space by maintaining a safe distance of 6 ft.
  • Instead of hugs, greet one another with a wave or a smile.
  • If you live with a health condition that puts you at high risk for COVID-19, consider joining us online instead.
  • Before you choose to gather with us in person, pray about your decision.

We understand that everyone in our church family has a different comfort level when it comes to regathering. With this in mind, we will continue to provide a high quality online experience for anyone choosing to worship from home.

Will there be River Kids programming?

We are excited for our kids programing to resume on October 4th.

Our mission is to partner with parents to help kids become fully engaged followers of Christ. One way we are partnering with parents during COVID-19 is to provide programming that keeps kids as safe as possible. The guidelines below show you how we are making Sunday safe for your child.

HOW WE ARE KEEPING YOUR CHILD SAFE:

  • Requiring you to reserve your child’s spot when registering for service online.
  • Taking temperatures upon entry to the building.
  • Requiring masks for volunteers, parents, and K-6th grade children. Masks are optional for 3-5 years olds.
  • Providing a touch free check-in option through the Church Center App.
  • Sanitizing rooms and screens between services.
  • Providing hand sanitizer to each child upon entering their space.
  • Requiring social distancing while waiting in line at the drop off/pick up doors.
  • Allowing only one parent/guardian to enter the spaces for drop-off and pick-up.
  • Limiting items brought into the space (no strollers, car seats or toys, please).

ADDITIONAL POLICIES FOR NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL:

  • No snacks will be served.
  • Bottles will be given, but should be pre-made.
  • Toys and blankets will be placed in a used bin to be washed and sanitized per service.
  • Gloves will be worn when changing diapers.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES FOR ELEMENTARY AND PRETEEN:

  • Parents should wait at the designated spot inside the room for pick-up.
  • Requiring social distancing during small and large groups.
  • Individual supplies will be given per child as needed for activities.
  • Activities will limit physical contact with another person or shared items.

Over the coming weeks and months, we will continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and the Ohio Department of Health. If anything changes, we will update you here. Make sure to follow us across all of our communication platforms so that you’re the first to know when we share updates.

Our desire is to be wise and balanced in our approach as we discern what is best for our church family and our wider community.  Please join us in praying and preparing for an outpouring of God’s grace on our church family to bring the hope, help, and healing of Jesus Christ to more people than ever!
